We hope this email finds you healthy and ready to hit the water! The fishing on Brushy Creek has been fantastic and it will just keep getting better as the weather warms. Give the shop a call if you need the latest fishing report before you head out!
As you know, Texas is beginning to re-open in a limited fashion and we are doing the same at Living Waters. So without further ado, here are a few announcements that we want to bring to your attention:
FLY SHOP ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Beginning Monday, May 4th we will re-open our fly shop doors to the public in a limited fashion.
- Store hours will be 10 A.M. – 4 P.M., Monday – Saturday.
- We will be allowing a maximum of 10 customers in the store at one time.
- Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned/disinfected regularly throughout the day.
- The fly shop will be deep cleaned on a daily basis.
- Curbside pickup and mail orders will still continue.
- The safety of our staff and customers is of great importance to us. That being said, please DO NOT visit the shop if you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness or allergies. Instead, we can process your order over the phone and mail it to you.
- Please continue to observe social distancing when visiting the fly shop.
GUIDE SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
- All guide trips, including float trips, will be resuming.
- Temporarily, Full Day trips will NOT INCLUDE lunch and all guests will be responsible for packing their own lunch for their own safety. A cooler will be available with ice and drinks.
- All boats will be cleaned and disinfected regularly for the safety of our clients.
- Social distancing will be practiced on all trips.
EVENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
- All in-store events for the month of May have been postponed/canceled.
- Fly Tying Nights will continue to be video-based through the month of May. To view the videos, visit www.vimeo.com/lwff
- Saturday events will all be hosted on Instagram and Facebook for the month of May. Please visit www.livingwatersflyfishing.com/events in the future for the new schedule of events. (we will have it updated soon!)
- Our Brushy Creek Slam will end on May 15th so catch some fish and earn discounts at Living Waters!
- Living Waters Fly Fishing is a Trout Unlimited Gold Level Business and Chris will be on a live interview with TU’s Business Director, Walt Gasson, on Instagram live this Friday, May 1st at 3PM CST. Join in to hear Walt and Chris discuss everything from native trout to fly shop life.
- Next weekend’s (May 9th, @ 10 AM) Instagram and Facebook live event will be a Whiting Hackle Tutorial with Chris Johnson. Learn the intricacies of each hackle type and their uses at the vise. We will also debut an exclusive product from Whiting Farms that will be available after the class! This will be one you don’t want to miss!
