NBFF Supports GRTU Youth Trout Camp
For the second year, New Braunfels Fly Fishers have supported the GRTU Youth Trout Camp by providing the youth with gift bags to further their fly fishing experience. The bags contained a fly box, a number of flies, two zingers, nippers, forceps, leader and tippet. The members of the
club donated more than three hundred flies to the youth. Special thanks to Umpqua for their donation of the leader and tippet. Pictured below are the youths with adults (left to right) Dakus Gesslin, GRTU Youth Initiative Chair, and NBFF members Pat McQuinn and Ed Finger.
The camp was a great success, they got to fish, learned about stocking, and how to care for fish, it was a full weekend.
