I hope you all had a good summer vacation season with some exciting Fly-Fishing adventures. We are nearing the 2024/25 Guad trout season in just a few short months and so we will be starting our NBFF Fly Tying sessions this coming Thursday October 3rd form 6-8 pm at the Westside Community Center, 2932 South IH 35 Frontage Road, New Braunfels.
This month we will start with a fly that we haven’t tied in a while “The Copper John”. This fly has proven successful for Rainbows on the Guadalupe, and I personally can vouch for that. The club will supply the needed materials for tying and if you’re new to tying we also have several tool setups that you can use. If you have your own, please feel free to bring them. Come out and practice your tying skills and tie a few for yourself and tie a few for our Club monthly fly raffle. We will start promptly at 6:00.
