The weather was great for the “Holdover Tournament” on November 7th but the trout didn’t cooperate. Sunfish numbers won the day with a redhorse sucker taking “big fish”. The New Braunfels Fly Fishers would like to thank the 12+ contestants for their participation and support. Some are pictured below:
The club would also like to thank the local fly shops and outfitters for their donation of prizes: Living Water Fly Shop, Castell Guide Service, Gruene Outfitters, Action Angler & Outdoor Center, and the estate of Mike Wright.
Also, we appreciate the guides who donated their time, equipment and expertise. These include Chris Jackson, Grace Dauzat and Dane Cone.
