I know our flows and water are not high right now, but I get lots of questions on what kind of rig to use, so here is a nice little piece that talks about rigs. I use a heavy rig pretty much all the time myself. For the Guadalupe I might keep it more simple, like a 3x leader, and 4x tippet, or late in the year a 5x flouro tippet if you think the fish have gotten leader shy.
