Come and use the tips “real time” you recently learned at the January Trout Lease 101 meeting! Open to all THCFF club members. A $30 entry fee per fisherman.
Names will be drawn for two man teams, there will be two teams on the water per hour. Each team will be assigned a judge that records the total number of fish landed.
First, second and third place teams will win a $30 gift certificate to be used at the COUNTRY FLYFISHER SHOP owned by fellow club member Martin Pursch.
Additionally the first place team will have one year bragging rights and be awarded a custom trophy with their names on it. Winners are asked to proudly bring and display at club meetings and events until it is awarded to the next years tournament winning team.
Depending upon the number of teams entered, the championship round may occur on Sunday if needed.
Questions encouraged. Event Leader: Jeff Schroeder jeffschroeder@
We will start registration at 8:30 and the tournament at 9:00 am sharp (arrive early). Opening comments by Jeff Schroder and Don Anderson. There will take a mid-day lunch break for fellowship and grilled hotdogs on the riverbank.
The Club 2024 calendar promises to be an exciting time for THCFF. We are starting the year off with 125 members strong. With an emphasis on fishing and fellowship, we are working hard at planning a full slate of club events that will span the entire 2024 year.
I look forward to meeting and fishing with those I have yet to meet. All club members are invited to attend the Feb Trout Stocking, Tecaboca Cup and Measure 2 Tournament.
Feel free to reach out to me at jeffschroeder@thcff.org if I can assist or you have ideas for meeting speakers or club activities.
I wish you “tight lines” and remember to “Leave it better than you found it.”
