TP&WD Rainbow Trout Stocking Schedule

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regularly stocks rainbow trout in various Texas Public waterways.  Listed below are a few area stockings.

The Guadalupe River stocking at Kerrville is as follows:

• Louise Hays Park: Along Guadalupe River adjacent to Sidney Baker/Hwy 16 bridge.
• 2400 fish to be stocked 12/15/2021 and 1/11/2022

The Pedernales River stocking In Gillespie County is as follows:

• LBJ State Park: Off US Hwy 290, 2 miles east of Stonewall or 14 miles west of Johnson City. Adjacent to both Ranch Road 1 and US Highway 290; enter on Park Road 52.
• 533 fish to be stocked 1/5/2022

Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park stocking In Gillespie County is as follows:

• Fredericksburg, Lady Bird Municipal Park: 432 Lady Bird Dr, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.
• 500 fish to be stocked 1/16/2022

Llano River, Llano County is as follows:

• Llano River (Castell downstream).
• 2400 fish to be stocked 12/7/2021

 Llano River, Mason County is as follows:

• Llano River (at FM 2389).
• 2500 fish to be stocked 12/4/2021 and 2/3/2022

Llano River, Kimbell County is as follows:

• Junction City.
• 3000 fish to be stocked 12/15/2021 and 1/3/2022

Llano River, Kimbell County is as follows:

• South Llano River State Park.
• 2200 fish to be stocked 11/30/2021 and 2/9/2022
