It goes without saying that the club meetings are canceled in April due to the Comal county stay at home orders. Texas State parks will also close to the public starting today, April 7th. So, stay at home, tie fly’s, get ready to fish when this all blows over and stay safe.

Texas State Parks temporarily close to the public.
At the direction of Gov. Greg Abbott, Texas State Parks will be closed to the public effective at the close of business Tuesday, April 7 in order to maintain the safest environment for visitors, volunteers and staff.

Fly Tie Tuesday, March 10th
Come join the NBFF Fly Tier’s this coming Tuesday at 7:00 at the the American Legion Hall at 410West Coll Street in New Braunfels. This month we will be tying the Zebra Midge and some variations. This fly is a trout favorite and is very easy to tie. Everyone should have several in their fly box. Tying is open to any NBFF member and you can bring your own equipment or we can supply you with the needed tools and supplies. Learn how to tie this fly, make a few for yourself and help tie some for the NBFF monthly raffle each month.
