Wading the Guadalupe River with flows at 758cfs. There’s a few places it can be done.
All had a good time at the 101 class hosted at Action Angler, wading can still be done at these higher flows, a wading staff is recommended. The next class is Feb 9th. Contact Action Angler for reservations.

Due to ongoing activities, the US Army Corps of Engineers is postponing the increased flood releases until Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Releases will continue at approximately 736 cfs. Canyon Lake level remains steady at 910.71 this morning.
Dan Cone is our speaker for January. Dan is going to give an update on Guadalupe conditions, along with a talk on high flow fishing on the Guadalupe.

I just checked the TPWD Site and the Castell stocking has now been rescheduled to 1/22/2019. Our club trip is rescheduled to Wednesday, 1/23. Hopefully, all will work out on these dates.
Still plan to meet at Brookshire Bros Grocery Store on FM306 on the north side of Canyon Lake at 7:00 am in order to carpool to Castell.
