- SATURDAY MARCH 23: Advanced Casting with Mike from 9-11:30 at the Cypress Bend Park. This class will focus on Ariel Mending, on the water mending, curve casts, slack line casts and accuracy and distance. One of the casts will show you how to double your time in the feeding zone when nymphing!!!!!!!!! Rods and reels are available if requested.Cost is free for NBFF members and $10 for non- members. However, if you join the club that day by joining the IFF, the cost will be free.
- You should wear waders or be prepared to wade, because all these casts and mends are best done on the water. You can always do the casts from the bank, but will not get the same results as in the water.
- We will meet at the parking lot opposite the covered area and go the to the field and river from there.
