The 2021 Holdover Tournament was held November 6th on a beautiful fall day. Six participants floated with guides and four participants were self-guided. John LaFreniere won 1st place, John Schlombohm 2nd and Ed Finger 3rd.
Data on fish, types size and qty. along with approximate locations, is collected and shared with TPWD.
The New Braunfels Fly Fishers would like to thank the folks who provided the prizes: Living Waters Fly Fishing, Gruene Outfitters, Umqua, and Action Angler Fly Shop. It was a beautiful day to be fishing on the Guadalupe River. A lot of fun and for a good cause and conservation. Join us next year on November 5, 2022.
Winners had a hard time picking their prizes, there was too much to chose from, the gift certificates were the most popular, donated by Action Angler, Living Waters and Gruene Outfitters. Another big thank you to the guides that provided time and boats.
